"300mm Premuim Pneumo" Depth Gauge - For Oxygen Service

The Ashford Instrumentation Ltd 300mm diameter Premium Pneumo Gauge is a  precision pressure gauge used for diver depth monitoring or for measuring the pressure within a hyperbaric chamber. The Premium Pneumo Gauge features the ability to zero the pointer via an adjustment screw located on the front of the gauge as well as having a Full Safety Pattern design case to "S3" standard as defined in the European standard EN837-1. This means that this fully degreased gauge is suitable for use on oxygen.

Manufactured with a black powder coated steel case, the Premium Pneumo Gauges is designed for commercial diving applications where oxygen is being used. With an accuracy of 0.25% full scale, an easy to read mirror band dial and knife edge pointer our Premium Pneumo Gauge is built to the highest standards featuring a  full safety pattern case with solid baffle wall and blow out back that is a requirement for oxygen service applications in Europe as well as on any gas, air or vapour application where the instrument scale range exceeds 25 Bar (250 Meters Sea Water). 

The Premium Pneumo Gauge is fully degreased and the dial is marked with the crossed oil can symbol in red and the word OXYGEN. The European Standard EN837-1 is also marked on dial on all ranges.  As sea water scales do not have an Internationally recognised value please note that all of our instruments are manufactured with a sea water specific gravity value of  1.025 which is marked on the dial.

As standard this instrument is supplied as 3-hole front flange with lower back entry although panel mount clamp fixing and surface mount with 3-hole back flange mount is also available. Bezels can be manufactured in a range of powder coated colours including red, green and yellow.

Please note that according to the European Standard EN837 - 1, gauges used on gas or air applications above 25 Bar or on any oxygen service regardless of the pressure range should be of a safety pattern "S3" design which includes a solid baffle wall and blow out back. The Ashford Instrumentation Ltd Premium Pneumo Gauge fully meets this safety criteria. 

This gauge conforms to the IMCA (International Marine Contractors Association) Diving Division Detailed Sheet Number 18 as per the IMCA Code of Practice on The Initial & Periodic Examination, Testing & Certification of Diving Plant & Equipment.

Technical Note: OXYGEN. IMCA D 022 Rev 1 (May 2014) Chapter 9 Gas Handling Section 9.6 notes that "Any gas mixture containing more than 25% oxygen by volume should be handled like pure oxygen"
